About ANI
ANI, or American Northwoods Industries, LLC., was formed in 1994 by Eric Boone. Eric and his wife, Rachel, own and manage this umbrella company that owns, manages, and oversees several companies, properties and businesses in the Grants Pass, Southern Oregon area. Below are messages from Eric and Rachel to you. "Hello!" My name is Eric Boone. I first visited Southern Oregon with my family in 1978 and moved here from Indiana the following year. I feel fortunate to be able to enjoy many of the activities this area has to offer. Rafting and boating on our many rivers and lakes, rock climbing, snow skiing, and exploring the Oregon Coast are some of my favorites. Quieter favorite pastimes include fine dining and enjoying the offerings of the Performing Arts Community. I never tire of the rugged beauty of the mountains and river valleys. When I started working on my own real estate, I discovered that I have an ability to visualize and develop a property's potential that might easily be overlooked. My first trade was welding and machine work and I have a passion for heavy equipment and excavating. These skills allow me to do most of my own work. "Hi," I'm Rachel Boone. I, along with the office cat, Tigger, and my constant companion, Murphy, a Deer Chihuahua, do our best behind the scenes to keep the bookwork in order. Tigger and Murphy are both Grants Pass natives. I, on the other hand, am a 1992 transplant from South Central Montana, where I worked for over twenty years as a veterinary assistant and office manager of a mixed animal veterinary practice which I co-owned. I must say that the climate of Southern Oregon is a delight! After twenty years out of the saddle, I am taking English riding lessons on an amazing little Icelandic Horse named Ofeigur.
